On March 28th the SPARK Alumni Branch will holding their second networking event. They are looking for 5 UBC start ups to pitch their businesses to a panel of investors and entrepreneurs, as well as the wider audience.
This is an excellent opportunity to get feedback from experienced investors and entrepreneurs on your business, and raise awareness of your company in the Vancouver business community. There will also be plenty of networking opportunities.
Last fall’s SPARK event drew over 120 entrepreneurial UBC alumni, and this spring’s event is expected to bring in even more.
Interested in becoming one of the 5?
Submit either a short video (best!) or up to 12 page Powerpoint on your business to info@entrepreneurship.ubc.ca, with the subject line “SPARK pitch contest”, by Feb 29th, 2012.
We’ll shortlist the first week of March, then work with the five finalists to help perfect their pitch in preparation for the event.
