Contribute to the Fund

By making a charitable contribution the entrepreneurship@UBC Fund, alumni have an opportunity to have a very tangible impact a UBC student’s entrepreneurial success.

As a charitable contribution, donors receive tax receipt as they would for any other contribution to UBC. In turn, the Fund then takes that capital and invests it in business started by current students or alumni who have graduated within the last three years.

In order to ensure the Fund is setup for success and donated capital is stewarded effectively, a group of very successful alumni with expertise in entrepreneurship, management and early stage investing have formed an advisory board. This advisory board sets overall policy for the Fund. An experienced investment board then performs due diligence on prospective opportunities and ultimately recommends specific investment decisions. All members are volunteers.

Visit the About Us section for more information on the people behind entrepreneurship@UBC, or if you are one of UBC’s 250,000 alumni and are interested in making a charitable contribution to the entrpreneurship@UBC Fund, please contact your faculty as outlined below. If you are not an alumni, or an alumni of a different faculty and are interested in contributing, then please contact us at info@entrepreneurship.ubc.ca.
